Le jeu comprend tout ce que propose habituellement un RPG classique de l’Infinity Engine : vous accomplirez des quêtes et gagnerez de l’expérience, souvent en combattant. Il comprend également de gigantesques batailles sur plateau, la gestion de factions, des romances et des amitiés, de l’artisanat et de l’alchimie, la récolte de ressources, et bien d’autres choses encore.
