Sonic: Before the Sequel

Sonic Before the Sequel (abrégé en Sonic BTS) est un jeu créé par LakeFeperd qui sert d'interquel entre Sonic the Hedgehog 1 et Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Le joueur traverse de nombreuses zones et alterne entre Sonic, qui veut empêcher Dr. Eggman de lancer l'Œuf de la Mort, et Tails, qui essaie de suivre Sonic et finit par faire équipe avec lui. Lors de SAGE 2012, une mise à jour incluant des améliorations graphiques, une bande-son originale et un combat de boss bonus si vous atteignez la bonne fin a été publiée. Cette série de jeux créés par LakeFeperd a continué avec une suite, Sonic After the Sequel, et un interquel, Sonic Before the Sequel Aftermath (qui s'est transformé en un autre jeu, Sonic Chrono Adventure).

After the events of Sonic 1, Sonic releases the Chaos Emeralds and is teleported to Hilltop Heights Zone. There, he catches sight of the nearly completed Death Egg and speeds off to stop it's impending launch. Later on after duking it out with Eggman, he heads off into Star Shore Zone. There, Tails is looking awkwardly at a Motobug that seems to be asleep, and he tries to touch it, and it awakes, and just as it is about to attack Tails, Sonic comes out of nowhere, destroys the badnik, and hurries off. Tails, amazed at the sight, sets out to follow the blue bur.
