Lord Monarch (ロードモナーク) est un jeu de guerre en temps réel développé par Nihon Falcom. Le jeu est considéré comme le septième volet de la série Dragon Slayer. Il a été initialement publié en 1991 pour le NEC PC-9801, porté en 1992 sur le Super Famicom et en 1994 sur la Sega Mega Drive. En 1997, Lord Monarch a été refait pour Windows sous le nom de Lord Monarch Online et a été publié gratuitement en japonais et, pour la première fois, en anglais.

You are prince Alfred, the son of the great king of Monarch. Since you have been a rather fresh and lazy boy, the king decides to strengthen you by sending you to battle. You are now sixteen, and you must prove you are worthy of being the prince of Monarch!
