Basketbrawl

Basketbrawl est un jeu vidéo sorti pour l'Atari 7800 en 1990, puis plus tard pour l'Atari Lynx en 1992. C'est une simulation sportive qui permet de frapper et de se battre avec d'autres joueurs. Le nom est un mot-valise des mots basketball et brawl. Basketbrawl est similaire au jeu d'arcade Arch Rivals de Midway sorti en 1989, qui avait le slogan "A basket brawl !" Atari a sorti un autre combo sport/combat pour l'Atari 7800 en 1990 avec Ninja Golf. Les deux faisaient partie des 11 derniers jeux publiés par Atari pour ce système en 1990-91 avant d'abandonner le support.

This premise kicks off Atari's action sports game for up to two players. The objective in Basketbrawl is to become the baddest gang in the town by winning the Basketbrawl tournament. To win, you must play three games against each of the five gangs in your city. Each time you move up to the next gang, you will play a team with more players and more dangerous weapons. Each game lasts six minutes -- out score you opponent by shooting more baskets. Each basket is worth two points. If the game is tied after six minutes, the first team to score wins
